Achim Nonnenmacher studied Physics at the University of Tübingen in Germany and at the University of Maryland, College Park (USA). In 2007 he earned a “Diplom” (M.S.) in physics from Tübingen under the supervision of Prof. Ch. Lubich.
In 2007 he joined the University of Edinburgh (UK) as a PhD student in Applied Mathematics with Prof. A. Abdulle and since 2009 pursues his work at the EPFL.
